About The Artwork

All rods and tubes used in our product are borosilicate glass. This glass contains at least 5% boric oxide,

highly resistant to heat and shock. All glass items are hand fashioned (no forms or molds are used). A torch

is used with a flame provided
by combining oxygen and propane gas.

These hand crafted glass sculptures are then trimmed with 22K gold (this gold is applied with a brush)

and placed in a kiln heated to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. This process is called annealing, which diffuses the

atoms in the glass to give it a uniform composition throughout, resulting in a stronger, pure product.

After the pieces are removed from the kiln, they are attached to the appropriate base (wood, rock, coral,

etc.) with a special U.V. glue applied under an ultraviolet light. This process

prevents the glue from yellowing and becoming brittle.

Each piece is then inspected, packed and shipped.
