About The Artwork All rods and tubes used in our product are borosilicate glass. This glass contains at least 5% boric oxide, highly resistant to heat and shock.

to see a dolphin being made and placed in a kiln heated to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. This process is called annealing, which diffuses the atoms in the glass to give it a uniform composition throughout, resulting in a stronger, pure product. Click here to see a dolphin being painted After the pieces are removed from the kiln, they are attached to the appropriate base (wood, rock, coral, etc.) with a special U.V. glue applied under an ultraviolet light.
